Disruption in e-pharmacy sector

Reliance Invests in Netmeds  Are we going to see disruption in the e-pharmacy sector as well, as it happened with the telecom sector? Amazon acted as a catalyst for this when they decided to delve into the pharmacy sector as well with Amazon pharmacy. Now there are several small e-pharmacy startups like 1mg, midlife, etc. Seeing the waves coming, Netmeds decided to sell its shares to Reliance Retail, which led to reliance presence in the e-pharmacy sector. Presence of giants like Reliance and Amazon, who have lots of cash to invest, I am foreseeing the condition of e-pharmacy to be similar to that of the telecom sector. Though Pharmeasy and Medlife merged, I don't think it would be much use unless we see some significant investment to support these startups.

API: A superhero without a cape

The power of API All of us must have heard API though we might or might not have complete knowledge about it. Ever wondered how a person who is texting from his WhatsApp can communicate with another person on any company’s portal. Here API comes into the Picture. API stands for Application Programming Interface, though as cliché as it may sound, its work is similar to mentioned in its full form. It acts as an interface to connect two apps, platform. Let me elaborate this with an example: Suppose you want to eat something, but you don’t even want to go outside because of the Sun, so you order online and got food delivered by a delivery boy. In this way, you protected yourself from exposing to the Sun. API performs the same function if two portals want to communicate with each other without sharing much information. With WhatsApp API, communication can be established between a website or any app and WhatsApp. This is so crucial as WhatsApp has become so handy for the peo

Power unlimited to movie

Movies and unlimited powers Often we forget that the best way to target an audience is through emotions. And when it comes to emotion what could be better than Movies. We think movies are just for entertainment but the subtle message which is hidden in most of the movies we ignore that. There are countless lessons that are hidden inside a movie. All it takes an eye and different angles to observe that. Why I am in particular focusing on movies, as a right-brained person visuals appeal to me more than information. So, I think short video and movies has twice the impact which information can. Just take the example of the movie "Drishyam". It has clearly depicted power which of visuals. What I see gets stamped on our brain for a longer period of time in comparison to what we read. Being a movie-enthusiast I thought to through some light on an area that is either sidelined or stereotyped. Often brands have also leveraged the opportunity of targeting audiences by perfec

Ultimate satisfaction of eating with hands

Hand eating and benefits We Indians love eating or better I would rephrase my statement approx 80 percent of Indians are a foodie. When it comes to food we don't like to compromise on its taste or quality. But what if I say half of Indians don't enjoy the real taste of the food which it can actually provide. We shy away from eating with our hands. It has been scientifically proven that eating with hands is most healthy. But not talking in terms of health aspects, but when we mix food or let say rice and Curry with our hands, all different flavors of curry get mixed with rice and help us to enjoy food in a better way. When the fingertips come together in a bowl formation and touch food, the five elements are stimulated, along with the digestive juices, simultaneously nourishing the body, mind, and spirit. The direct touch results, as well, in a more intimate feel for texture, taste, and portion size, our saliva mix properly with the food and help us to enjoy the u

Best food in Dubai : Chapter-1 "Paratha King"

When it comes to North Indian people, most sought after food is aloo paratha. Just mention of the word brings water in the mouth of most Indians. Now the craving level increases when we are away from India and its hard to find quality food. We start searching on google but still, we can't find what we are actually looking for. So, I thought to introduce chapters of best and economic food in Dubai. The enticing picture of paratha which I have uploaded is from Paratha king and there are many outlets of this chain here. I ate this in Al Karama. The paratha was so heavy that your hunger vanishes just after a single paratha and they complement the meal with chhole, green chilly and pickles.  It's slightly on the expensive edge when one compares that with other stores but considering the size and taste, it's worth the price. Afterall satisfaction of tastebuds is the primary requirement🤪

Marriage and compromises

Love is not as simple as it looks and when it comes to marriage it is even more complex. We think that two people are in love and they get married and live happily ever after. But what I must tell you is that the concept of happily ever after is only suitable for movies. It has no real-life significance. The real problem starts thereafter. Initially, everything seems like a fairy tale but we have to keep a phrase in our mind "Dur ke dhol suhane". When marriage happens then complexity arises. It doesn't mean that one should not marry but we have to maintain a trade-off between family and life-partner which is quite a difficult task. You can't satisfy your family and your wife at the same time. And what about your satisfaction and your dreams. You would have to make a compromise with that also. Despite all these horrific things marriage is indeed a beautiful moment in a person's life and as depicted by famous saying "kuch paane ke liye kuch khona
