Marriage and compromises

Love is not as simple as it looks and when it comes to marriage it is even more complex. We think that two people are in love and they get married and live happily ever after. But what I must tell you is that the concept of happily ever after is only suitable for movies. It has no real-life significance. The real problem starts thereafter. Initially, everything seems like a fairy tale but we have to keep a phrase in our mind "Dur ke dhol suhane". When marriage happens then complexity arises.

It doesn't mean that one should not marry but we have to maintain a trade-off between family and life-partner which is quite a difficult task. You can't satisfy your family and your wife at the same time. And what about your satisfaction and your dreams. You would have to make a compromise with that also.

Despite all these horrific things marriage is indeed a beautiful moment in a person's life and as depicted by famous saying "kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta hai ". The same is the case of marriage. In marriage, we lose our "chain" and some parts of our dream. But what we get in return is worth it. You get a beautiful partner who stands by you in all your needs, who cares for you and for nothing is more important than your desire. Sometimes we forget that if we are compromising on our dreams then another person is also doing the same.
So stop worrying about all these things and enjoy the beautiful phase of your life.

Expected percentile and colleges to apply

Now as CAT is over and IIM has also released a response sheet, you all must be wondering about the expected percentile and colleges to apply. So, based on previous year stats I am going to predict the percentile and accordingly colleges to apply. If your score is somewhere around 158 then you would be getting 99 percentile and you would have plenty of options. Maximum chances are there you would get a call from L, K, I., FMS. If your score is around 148, then your percentile would be around 98 and IIM Kozhikode and Indore still may call you. You can all apply to colleges like MDI, NITIE(only for engineers), IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, SP Jain, DFS.  Options of New IIM would always be there if you clear sectional cut-off. If your score is around 128 then you would get approx 95 percentile and you may get a call from New IIM's and from IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi, Ximb Bhubaneshwar, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, DSE, DBE, IIM Ranchi hrm. If your score is aro...

Power unlimited to movie

Movies and unlimited powers Often we forget that the best way to target an audience is through emotions. And when it comes to emotion what could be better than Movies. We think movies are just for entertainment but the subtle message which is hidden in most of the movies we ignore that. There are countless lessons that are hidden inside a movie. All it takes an eye and different angles to observe that. Why I am in particular focusing on movies, as a right-brained person visuals appeal to me more than information. So, I think short video and movies has twice the impact which information can. Just take the example of the movie "Drishyam". It has clearly depicted power which of visuals. What I see gets stamped on our brain for a longer period of time in comparison to what we read. Being a movie-enthusiast I thought to through some light on an area that is either sidelined or stereotyped. Often brands have also leveraged the opportunity of targeting audiences by perfec...
