Bell the CAT 2019

Now, these days are the most nail-biting ones when the adrenaline rush is there. CAT '19 is just two weeks ahead. It is the most crucial stage when students put their best efforts to gain an advantage over others. CAT is one of the most difficult entrance exams where many students put their best efforts over the years in the race of getting admissions in top B-school.
Now I am hoping your preparation would be running at full pace but you should really keep a few things in mind. CAT, unlike other exams, is not about just hard labor but also acting smartly. It's those three hours which decide how you are going to fare. So, instead of becoming nervous its time to act wisely.
Now let me tell you plans for these 15 days and for the exam which I followed, I hope it would work for you. In these 15 days don't give too many mocks , just one or two is fine instead start focusing on your weak areas where you are actually lagging. Start analyzing your past mock papers and try to figure out how it can be improved. Focus on gathering all the info and concepts which you have gained earlier, for it happens that we keep taking tests and analyzing that and stop focusing on gathering concepts.
Now what I have seen over the past four years of my CAT experience, Verbal is going to be easy to moderate. Just learn the technique of option eliminations. Many questions of RC can easily be solved by eliminating options. Summary and odd one out questions are doable but try to avoid para jumbles. As there is no negative marking for verbal ability, just leave it for last. RC plays the main role in determining the scores.
If we talk about Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, the maximum probability is that it would be moderate to difficult. About 3 to 4 sets would be doable ones and rest would be either tricky or difficult. Just skim through the paper and don't waste more than 3 minutes on any set. If you are able to crack it within 3 minutes then it's fine otherwise leave it for there are maximum chances that it is a trap. Just focus on 3 easy sets which would be asked definitely. Start practicing previous year papers which are available of the last 3 years also, since they have started releasing it now. It would be enough to excel in this section.
Now the third section is Quantitative Ability which is the favorite section for engineers. Now last year questions were quite difficult but if you are clear with your basics then this section won't be a problem at all. Just revise all the old questions you have done and solve the previous year's questions, you would definitely start feeling confident.
These are the last moments so just don't take too much stress and focus on your basics, you will surely excel in the exam. Best wishes for CAT ' 19 :)

Life is beautiful and love is the reason for it.

Love failure is good, having faced betrayal in life is good and so is rejected by someone who you have admired passionately. These all make you strong, teach you a lesson not to treat other people in the same way you have been treated. But to not love again, not rise again and not fall for someone is the misery of maximum people Our past failures stop us from trusting, loving and admiring someone.  Let's just learn from the past and shift+Del it from life. Love again, rise again, this life is the most precious gift to mankind. We should cherish it and make full use of it. Relationships are not about push-pull but holding strings together and striving hard not to leave it. It's neither about living with someone who you are not comfortable with. Unless two people don't have the same connection, carrying forward relationship doesn't make sense. When we give importance and attention to someone we are seeking for, the whole sufferings would vanish, life would become

Expected percentile and colleges to apply

Now as CAT is over and IIM has also released a response sheet, you all must be wondering about the expected percentile and colleges to apply. So, based on previous year stats I am going to predict the percentile and accordingly colleges to apply. If your score is somewhere around 158 then you would be getting 99 percentile and you would have plenty of options. Maximum chances are there you would get a call from L, K, I., FMS. If your score is around 148, then your percentile would be around 98 and IIM Kozhikode and Indore still may call you. You can all apply to colleges like MDI, NITIE(only for engineers), IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, SP Jain, DFS.  Options of New IIM would always be there if you clear sectional cut-off. If your score is around 128 then you would get approx 95 percentile and you may get a call from New IIM's and from IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi, Ximb Bhubaneshwar, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, DSE, DBE, IIM Ranchi hrm. If your score is aro
