Made in China Movie Review

Made in China is a movie that I would call a combo of entertainment. It will make you laugh along with a very serious message. Rajkumar Rao is very choosy when it comes to selecting movies and we can easily observe from the choice of movies he selects. Now talking about the movie, it is about a fickle-minded man and who always comes with different kinds of startup ideas but to his bad luck, none of his idea succeeds. His family condition was also not good and his relative Summet Vyas used to pay his child tuition fees.

Everything remained such only till one day Rajkumar Rao whose name is Raghu in the movie met Paresh Rawal. He teaches him how business actually works. He enters into a venture ship with Boman Irani(Dr. Vardhi) who happens to be a sexologist and used to help people with Sex-related problems on a small scale.
The venture started performing good when they find a way to deliver things to the people and market it using the name of Dr. Vardhi.
They later face several problems because of the Discreet nature of work and Raghu not telling his wife Rukmini(Mouni Roy) about this business. How they come out of their problems is the main part of the story which I would not tell.

Now acting-wise Mouni Roy had a small part but she did justice to her role. Rajkumar Rao and Paresh Rawal are fantabulous. Although Paresh Rawal has a very small part to play. Sumeet Vyas and Gajraj Rao are as always superb.
Among all that I like the much was the message which It delivered. Why People shy away from mentioning the word Sex or Sex-related problems. It's a normal thing and anyone can face such kind of situation. Its 21st century and people should be more open about such topics. Its the main gist of the movie.

Expected percentile and colleges to apply

Now as CAT is over and IIM has also released a response sheet, you all must be wondering about the expected percentile and colleges to apply. So, based on previous year stats I am going to predict the percentile and accordingly colleges to apply. If your score is somewhere around 158 then you would be getting 99 percentile and you would have plenty of options. Maximum chances are there you would get a call from L, K, I., FMS. If your score is around 148, then your percentile would be around 98 and IIM Kozhikode and Indore still may call you. You can all apply to colleges like MDI, NITIE(only for engineers), IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, SP Jain, DFS.  Options of New IIM would always be there if you clear sectional cut-off. If your score is around 128 then you would get approx 95 percentile and you may get a call from New IIM's and from IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi, Ximb Bhubaneshwar, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, DSE, DBE, IIM Ranchi hrm. If your score is aro...

Power unlimited to movie

Movies and unlimited powers Often we forget that the best way to target an audience is through emotions. And when it comes to emotion what could be better than Movies. We think movies are just for entertainment but the subtle message which is hidden in most of the movies we ignore that. There are countless lessons that are hidden inside a movie. All it takes an eye and different angles to observe that. Why I am in particular focusing on movies, as a right-brained person visuals appeal to me more than information. So, I think short video and movies has twice the impact which information can. Just take the example of the movie "Drishyam". It has clearly depicted power which of visuals. What I see gets stamped on our brain for a longer period of time in comparison to what we read. Being a movie-enthusiast I thought to through some light on an area that is either sidelined or stereotyped. Often brands have also leveraged the opportunity of targeting audiences by perfec...

Dollar: wear the change

Is Dollar failing to bring the required chang e? Recently  Dollar Industries Ltd  changed its logo and tagline as a revamping exercise and to rejuvenate the brand.  It changed its slogan from "fit hai boss" to "wear the change." Currently, it is having a market share of 15 percent in the hosiery segment in India. They have said in their official release they are targetting younger audiences. What astonished me is that they are continuing with the same brand ambassador, i.e, Akshay Kumar , from approx ten years. I think if they want to focus on revamping the brand, then they should seriously focus on the face of the brand. If one looks closely at its competitors Rupa(who is currently the market leader) and Lux innerwear (who is also having close to 20 percent market share), these brands have roped in young actors as their faces. Rupa has Ranveer Singh as it's brand ambassador, while Lux has chosen Varun Dhawan as their brand ambassador. Should Dollar also focu...
